Why is this such a big deal? Naming Campbell as the new assistant coach has made her the first woman in the NHL to do so.
A big accomplishment for woman in an industry that is very male dominated.

Agreed completely! Kraken franchise continually do things different. I was born a Flyers fan, and they do everything wrong. So glad to have the Kraken! 💙

A female needs to be extremely good to earn a position in this male dominated industry. I am so excited for her and looking forward to the energy she brings
