Josh biggest game day in Sag Spirit franchise history just how are you guys feeling yeah super excited um worked our ass off on Friday to get to this point uh we were talking about it today he couldn’t have R the script any better so we’re really really Juiced up yeah what’s it like to obviously have two OHL teams battling out here for the biggest trophy in uh junior hockey yeah there’s a ton of History here and both teams are going to come ready to play there’s uh the biggest trophy in junior hockey on the line two teams that really don’t like each other and I have a lot of history so uh should gear up to be an unbelievable hockey game and I can’t wait to get started you mentioned it there the history between these two teams just how can that help you guys know in the London might so well I don’t think it helps either team I think both teams have a lot of understanding of the other opponent I think what what tonight comes down to is who wants him more and who’s willing to work harder for it and I know we got a lot of guys in that room that are willing to die for this cup so we’re really excited one advantage you guys have is the home crowd um just how incredible have they been for you guys on a night toight basis throughout this tournament phenomenal phenomenal our crowd has been uh been absolutely great friends and family coming in from out of town uh makes this event that much more special for us uh just still a local phrase from Michigan you bleed blue I mean you were saging on Spirit of through and through despite the the little time in North Bay um just for you for cirle is your last game of Junior tonight just how are you feeling and what has this franchise meant to you yeah franchise has been Second To None it’s been um what got me to Pro and it’s it’s what is uh helping my hockey career move forward I think the uh history and the Legacy in this organization is unbelievable I still have guys reaching out who I played with when I was 16 all the way up to now I’m 21 so um yeah to be a saga Spirit to wear this logo to be in this event this moment right now it’s pretty special for me personally but uh that being said we can make it that much more special we raising a trophy in uh a little over 10 hours right now motions are going to be really high tonight how do you guys control those so you don’t go and and do some silly stuff yeah I think it’s really important for us to get into the game early get the nerves out right away first shift whether it’s get a hit get a shot get into the game find a way to get into the game I think that’ll be a big uh important note for us to start the game and then I think for for us going into the game we got to stay out of the box right they got a deadly PE deadly deadly power play sorry so uh we definitely have to stay out of the box and uh yeah we got to start on time did you guys talk about in the room about not looking too far ahead just doing one shift at a time yeah that’s been the message of the entire tournament one shift at a time one game at a time one moment at a time and I think This Moment’s a really really big moment so it’s important to lean back on those key foundations
