I like this. Fabbri isn’t the best, but Alexander wasn’t going to make the cut behind all our other goalies. Gets us to the cap floor, shores up our 4th line a bit, and nets us a bonus pick in 2025.

If you can’t raise the ceiling, at least lift the floor. Our bottom six was abysmal last season. This helps add some offense there by spending money we would have to spend regardless.
