After a wild opening day. of free agency, the Edmonton Oilers have been quiet over the previous few days. Fans have had a chance to hear from the new signings including Jeff Skinner and Viktor Arvidsson. Additionally, Adam Henrique chatted with the media explaining why he chose to return.

Couldnt they renegotiate Nurse term and make him a life time Oiler?…Stretch out the current 6 years remaining to 12 years and make his cap hit $4,650,000? Is this possible?.

Holloway will be better with Drai vs Nuge.
Nuge should be on the 3rd or 4th line with McLeod / Perry / Ryan / Kane

I could see Janmark and Brown on the fourth line with Ryan at centre some games, with McLeod/Henrique/Holloway on the third for more offence
I thought Perlini could be a good – he was starting to score right before he got sent down to the AHL, and was (I thought) looking pretty good at the time. I was a bit surprised when he was sent down tbh.
Brad Malone is a Great for me – mainly for his Bakersfield impact
The line changing/options is just fabulous. And the ability to run. Line time more evenly will be magical for the Top guys.
