They didn't make a pick based on what the fans wanted… they made a pick based on their scouting reports. When you ask Nick Bobrov what he thinks about Ivan Demidov being the steal of the draft and he responds by saying "Uh absolutely, that's an understatement."? I'll believe him over 2 podcast boys.

Ive heard many NHL scouts say the Demidov's MHL team would beat any team in the Canadian Junior leagues easily.
