On this episode the boys are joined by Stanley cup champion winning goaltender Jordan Binnington. Not only is “Binner” one of the best goalies in hockey with an incredible story of breaking through, but he’s also maybe the single most entertaining player in the NHL. He never shys away from showing his emotion on or off the ice and has given us some incredible moments, this interview is no different. He gets into his change in emotional state, throwing the water battle at Nazem Kadri, almost fighting Marc Andre Fleury and much more. Hockey can be weird. The constant push pull of a strong personalities in the game balanced against the team focused culture and sport. Binner has the hardware and in my opinion should have the freedom to bring his energy whenever he feels the need. He has a pulse on the game. Let him cook. Strong personalities have always been a bit taboo but the game was more aggressive in the past. Who didn't love seeing Cujo and Cheveldae coming together at center ice? Ron Hextal? The Blues may need some more beef on the bun so Schenn and Binner arent the only ones willing to up the energy.
