  1. Sure seems like Brandon Lisowsky is still in the Leafs’ plans despite not being signed to an ELC. Wonder if he inks an AHL deal sometime this summer

We don’t get much exposure to Leafs players in person here in Saskatchewan (obviously) but Liso took time after a game to sign an autograph for me (of him in his Leafs jersey) behind the bench of a Blades game. He didn’t need to do that but I’ve been pulling for him ever since.

Can anyone spell Cincinnati. I didn’t get corrected. I must have it right.

  4. Leafs have such a good staff to surround these young guys with.

Dr.Wickenheiser is multi hall of fame, 2 sport Olympian. And a god damn Doctor.

Shane Doan was a high pick that took a while to find his footing then played over 1500 nhl games, not by being elite but through remarkable consistency in all areas of the game.

Muzzin, Stanley cup champion. Definition of worth ethic and playing the game right.

Antropov is the same cut. Consistent high level play across 7 leagues. Big frame but wasn’t really a power forward. Used his size to be an all-areas player.

Great group of people for the prospects learning tree and it doesn’t cost a dime towards the cap.
