Canucks Fans Are Going To LOVE This New Forward!

Earlier this offseason, I suggested that the Vancouver Canucks sign Kiefer Sherwood in order to replace Dakota Joshua if he left. Not only did the Canucks re-sign Dakota Joshua, they signed Kiefer Sherwood in free agency! In this video, I break down his statistics and show why Canucks fans are going to fall in love with him!

  1. the 2024-2025 season can't come sooner. So many good trades and interesting teams to follow next season. I usually follow one from each division plus my home team (MN). This past season I followed VAN, WPG, PHI and DET. This next season I'll follow VAN, NSH, PHI and DET (+ MN)

  2. Allvin said he wanted to have a team that was hard to play against. This is it. Nobody is going to want to come to Vancouver without a stockpile of painkillers and ice packs. This could be the most hated team since that 2011 team. They won’t be as good, but they could be as hated. Other teams spent a lot of money that could blow up in their faces, but the Canucks didn’t go all in on a big fish. They brought balance and grit to the team. Heinen could be the best of the signings. He can play anywhere.

  3. Sherwood is a total character guy, and he replaces the speed we lost with Mikheyev and Lafferty. 100% down for this signing, he's someone who's only going to get scarier on a line with Miller or Petey as a real workhorse.

  4. I really like all the forward signings that fill every need the team needed.

It's now the D core that worries me. The canucks basically have 2 3rd pairing lines. They'll have to make somthing happen via trade

  5. Sherwood can snipe the puck quite well too. Just look at how he scored on Demko this past regular season, and how he snapped a shot on net with such velocity in Round 1 against the Canucks

  6. I’m excited, building our bottom 6 into guys who aren’t afraid to hit, and make the opposition lack-offensive ability is great, and will benefit us crucially especially in the playoffs.

  7. stoked on this pickup, Cant wait to see how well he plays with millsy and boes. With his shot, speed and physicality i’m predicting a 20g season outta this guy.

  8. It looks like the Canucks management finally has their shit together. Great draft picks, great signings. It's about time dammit

  9. Canucks are going to be a pain in the ass team to play against. All the signings Allvin has made so far are Tocchet type players.

  10. canucks really building something special here. allvin deserves gm of the year if they do well this year.

  11. We're addressing multiple things with these signings, depth scoring, grit, and speed.
