  1. Imo the # 1 criteria to the Oilers GM do they a Vested interest in the Oilers & have Familiarity with this market & its unique challenges?
So a person with History here & is Experienced with a Proven track record & a Winner. We don't want someone who's Heart & Head isn't loyal to the Oil imo. Someone who is solely Focused upon the Oilers & has no outside Distractions that would demand & disrupt their attention. I like the internal candidates best for that reason K Gretzky, Bill Scott, Kalle Larson & Brad Holland in that order. Shawn Horcoff & Doug Weight & Fernando Pisani would be ex Oilers who Id like if we got permission from their present employers. My #1 outside pick is Mark Hunter #2 Sean Burke #3 Kevin Weekes those other candidates sorry. Stan Bowman is a absolute non starter imo & as a overwhelming majority of the fans don't want him.

  2. Good evening Patrick from Germany. From my point of view, Bouchard and Drai will stay at the oilers. Drai isn't the type of guy following the biggest money. It needs more a sign of respect at him to get his autograph and I think he will get it from the hole franchise! Bouch I think is the same type of guy like Drai. So it will be done by finding the right words and also the right numbers to get both. GM candidates, I don't know all of them not so good as you, but I think that should be somebody who will characterly are able to work in the same direction than the franchise and perhaps having some experiences with the franchise in the past too. It is a puzzle piece that have to fit in order to do the best work… . Cheers from Germany 🎉🎉

  3. Sean Burke or Dale hunterb4 gm Like to see 👀 Cody Cici and Derek Ryan traded to Chicago or islanders before the summer is over just to get them off the books before the season starts

  4. Bouchard spent 2 weeks behind his net in game7 with 53 seconds left in the game…I hope ewe losers sign him for 8 million

  5. I can barely hear your video. I don’t know if it’s on my end or yours . I think it’s on your end because every other video is good.

  6. I can't see the Oilers willing to Tampa Bay Leon like they did their former Captain now in Nashville. I honestly see Leon signing a one year deal (to put him and Connor in sync). This way if his friend doesn't resign it's purely his choice to move or not. I can't see him or Connor moving. Hopefully the fullness of time proves me right and they're Oilers forever (at a fair price with a nice long dynasty). Take care all.

  7. The Oilers need to trade Evan Bouchard. While his stock is up. He's got a bomb of a shot. But he is terrible other than that. Gives the puck away five times a game. Looks like he has fas.

  8. Drai didn't deliver, it is time to face facts. They have an opportunity to trade him for an elite goaltender or an entire 2nd line.

  9. No Bowman period. Trade Drai for Crosby? Sid is nearing the end of his career. Drai much younger. That trade not gonna happen. Ragging on Bouch and, as always, Codi Ceci. Too many negative comments. What's wrong with everyone? Get your heads out of the sand. This team came with one or two goals of winning the Cup. Bouch was there. Ceci was there. Nurse was there. If all these guys were so terrible the team would have been out at Vancouver. Ceci obviously had a good playoff performance. Okay, there are better d-men in the league. Okay, he's not Bobby Orr. He's not a fighter. He's not going to run people over. But I don't think he deserves to be a lightning rod for criticism. Let's focus on the positives here. There are a lot of them. Jackson has already done a fantastic job. This team is better than last year's version. I don't think Draisaitl is going anywhere except back in the Oiler's dressing room. Holloway has more experience now and will be better. Broberg looked really, really good. Awesome skater who moves the puck well. He'll be a regular on defense next year. Third line is back. Added Jeff Skinner and Arvidsson. Connor Brown has recovered from his knee injury. He'll be better. I love the way management stood by him and gave him time to fully heal. And we have a proven goalie now. No more doubts about Stu. So, my question is, what the hell is there not to like?? And then we have Patrick and his great channel. He's only going to get better too. A rock star. Hell, Patrick for GM!! My only worry? Nashville. They also got a lot better. Who wants to long range bet? Oilers and Predators for the right to go the Cup final. Onward to October!! Can't wait.

  10. Burke ,Hunter or Gretzky would be my choices but Jackson has not made a bad move yet. Drai and Bouch will remain oilers .

  11. If Sean Burke is the GM he isn’t coaching the goalies. Keith Gretzky is horrendous and is the worst choice for internal GM. Brad Holland is the best candidate for an internal hire.

  12. If Draisaitl leaves Edmonton, it's over money. And that to me is really sad. He's getting a raise, regardless of where he goes, but it's almost definitely going to be less in Edmonton than it would be elsewhere. Having said that, as mentioned in this video, Edmonton kind of is the only place where Draisaitl and McDavid stick together. The problem is, what if Draisaitl signs say a 4-6 year deal and the next year McDavid decides to leave for any multitude of reasons? I'm not saying that Leon isn't good on his own, but there is no question that without McDavid, he's on average a 75, or maybe 80 point player rather than a 100+ point player.

And wait a second… Mark Hunter? LOL really? Director of player personnel and assistant GM for the Leafs when they were literally just as bad as the Oilers? I think I'd rather have Chiarelli back over this guy… Hard pass!
