I went to the scrimmage this afternoon. First off, let me say, I've had season tickets for hockey in Utah since 1970. It is so wonderful to see players, such as these, getting the oppotunity to show their skills and SIZE. Players at the ECHL level either have skills and zero size. Or size and zero skills. Skating is usually an issue as well. That's why you see less than 10% of ECHL players (except goalies) make it to the NHL.
I'm going to list 5 players today who made the best impression to me:

Just about every prospect showed me they have size, skill, and skating ability. EVERY single prospect today is better than anytne I've seen, in the last 15 years +, in the ECHL. I'm very encouraged by our current prospects and how they could possibly impact the Utah and Tucson rosters this upcomming season and the seasons to come.
Excited with free agents we've signed. Marino will surprise everyone.
