New York Rangers have two restricted free agents who have yet to be re-signed so far this offseason, one being Braden Schneider and the other Ryan Lindgren. Ryan has filed for arbitration after failing to come to a contract agreement with the Rangers front office meaning they’ll have an arbiter help decide the new contract for Lindgren.

Love him but he is injured so frequently. What to do?
No way he should get more then 4 years.
More importantly his choosing arbitration opens another buyout window for Rangers if they decide they want to buyout Trouba.

Definitely should trade lindgren he is not even close to being as important as the fans and analysts say and he’s not a top 4 D man at all
Lindgren, there is nothing you can say bad about this player, he is not afraid to drop down to black a shot unlike certain players on the roster that all they do is obstruct the goaltenders view.
And he gets hurt all the time not once in a while and he’s always playing hurt especially in playoffs I don’t want a guy who likes playing that physical style even tho he’s not even good at it cuz he’s so small and he gets hurt all the time from playing that tough guy style get him outta here him being in the top four is one of the reasons the rangers D core has massive holes they don’t have a real top 4 d men they got 3 top 4 caliber guys and 2 3rd pair guys and a shoe in 7th D man who they play as a starter

I like Lindgren but a 3 year contract is what I'd offer. These 6-8 year contracts are ridiculous in the long term. The Leafs are the perfect example of this. I can see doing longer term with a very young guy whose star is rising. Lafreniere & Shesterkin are guys like that. Lindgren is not that guy.

Lindgren is worth 3.6$ mill cap hit 1 millon times over more than Trouba is worth the 8$ mill cap hit.. Lindgren > Trouba .
Trouba sucks. He plays for the opponent every playoff game.
One or two years should be it . I wouldn't mind if they let him walk . He is way over rated
