  1. I’ll tell you this for free, under no circumstances are the Oilers trading Leon Draisaitl. Either he resigns or plays out his contract, that’s it.

  2. He'll sign the contract they've already agreed on the day after the new gm signs. He's not going anywhere. $12.875MX8

  3. ..if the Oilers go to McDavid and ask..Leon or 13 million for ..??..Connor may believe he is the man and Skinner and Arvidson are helpers..

  4. Media/ this channel is trying to Hype up the Panic on UFA leon so they have content to make in the off season. Once there’s a GM in place contracts will heat up

  5. Imagine if they lose both Bouchard and draisaitl with how the team is ran it’s not unrealistic 🤦‍♂️

  6. The only reason media is talking about this is because Draisaitl is UFA. If he was a RFA this wouldn't even be a video

  7. Sign or trade? Duh. So lose him for nothing? LOL. At least $12mil. This shouldn't be a too hard. Pay him since he's been under paid for his entire current contract.

  8. With the lineup intact, the Oilers could win the Cup next June in much the same way the Panthers won the Cup this year after being runner up to the Golden Knights the year before.

  9. I could see Leon waiting for McDavids extention and they both do a Toews & Kane, same contract essentially.

  10. The Oilers want to sign him. He will be signed…. Now find something else to talk about.
The Oil had a great run in the playoffs, we just signed some great free agents, we have made at least one trade that I believe will be positive in the near future. Us fans have never been happier or more excited.
DON’T mess this moment up for us. Thank you

  11. He was hoping to go into negotiations with a Stanley Cup under his belt . Money aside ,dude is arrogant and I think he has an issue playing in McDavid's shadow … It almost sounds to me like his agents will be looking for extra $ to makeup for their short comings from the last contract . i could see this going sideways fast …

  12. He still has a year left on his contract he dosnt need to sign right now. He can take the summer and they can decide on an extension. Everyone needs to calm down I’m an oilers fan and I’m not even worried because I know he will resign. Plus management be stupid to trade him right now when they are on the cup push.
