Where is the toughness up front? No Bertuzzi up front. At least 2 tough wingers needed!! Otherwise nothing changes. Minten and Cowan will give more offence up front anyways. We still need help on the back end moving the puck. I would rather have Liiligren RD than Timmins. More upside. Put him 2nd pair with Zadorov and move Macabe to move puck down with Benoit.

No team in the league is going to put a 90+ point player on the 3rd line in 2024 It's not going to happen.
Even if the Leafs wanted to move Tavares to the wing they can't, you can't go with Cowan and Minten as your #2 and #3 center that's WAY to young, you can't throw Cowan into that spot right away.
You know people Ryan Reaves did a good job down the stretch and when he played in the playoffs I would keep him for another season that's my opinion.

No way does Cowan start the season as the 2nd line center. Do you honestly think Berube will trust an undersized center with zero games in the NHL to play that many minutes? Takes more than a successul junior career to earn that respectand trust to batte against a Draisaitl, Rantanen or Malkin.
i have never seen a fan base so happy to over pay a player no other team in the nhl would give league minimum to, bringing back players that continue you fail and are old is why the leafs will never win

Worst signing ever: Leafs sign Domi for 4x's his worth and for longer than any team he has ever been with. He's been with SEVEN (7) teams in the last NINE (9) years and lasted only ONE (1) year with FOUR (4) of those teams. How dumb are the Leafs???? Everyone knows but the Leafs and their fans.
