Back with my annual Calgary Flames NHL Draft recap video and for the 2024 NHL Entry Draft the Calgary Flames we’re much busier at the draft by first entering in with nine draft picks including six in the first three rounds. Ultimately the Calgary Flames drafted ten players as on the second day in the fourth round the Calgary Flames made a draft day trade with the Philadelphia Flyers to pick up an extra pick to help out in the rebuild.
I go over who the Calgary Flames draft and with both picks that they own and the several that we’re acquired over the past season when the Calgary Flames made several trades to start retooling but now is in a full rebuild mode.
Interesting to see how the whole draft would look as it was held in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Sphere. Have a feeling we’ll be seeing more NHL drafts there in the future.
