Egor Zamula, the Philadelphia Flyers last remaining restricted free agent, has inked a two-year deal. Development camp is over, complete with a Jett Luchanko ELC signed.
The draft wasn’t as exciting as we hoped, free agency was a predictable nothing-burger, and now into the second week of the new league year, Danny Briere has not done much to differentiate this year’s Flyers team from last season’s, with the obvious exception of Matvei Michkov’s pending arrival.
What does it mean if Danny is done? Does he HAVE TO do something? And why hasn’t Scott Laughton been traded yet?

I miss Bill being in the Bunkbed…
If Danny does nothing he should just change his name to Ron Hextall. Trade TK. Trade Laughton. If ya wait until the trade deadline their value will be diminished.
What about the 2 Europeans they signed? Big guys playing with grown men for awhile.
Something has to happen with TK this summer right? No way they go into the year with him on a lame duck contract?

Frost is not a 1C. He is not on Matvei’s level. The only thing Danny needs to do this off season is pull the trigger & get one of the young C’s available asap. Necas just went to arbitration. Byfield hasn’t been qualified yet. There is Zegras, Johnson & Pinto. We have lots of picks, over pay if we must, securing a 1C for Matvei should be priority. Trades need to be made.
