  1. Honestly if i was Crosby i would ask for a trade. This would solve 2 problems first or would give him another chance to win a cup( he's not going to in pitt) and second it would legitimately infuse Pittsburgh with young players/draft picks.

  2. Sid took arguably the most team friendly contract ever in 2012. He deserves what ever he wants/gets. It's actually crazy that the face of the league for a decade never made over 10 sheets aav.

  3. In a way I'm surprised to heard about contract extension for Crosby. Because he was clearly displease with the Guentzel trade. Although, his loyal and selfless personality might get the best of him in the end. He will retire as one of the greatest that stood up for the organisation he played his entire career. I think he was the hardest player to steal the puck off in the whole NHL history. His will to win, hockey IQ/space intelligence and puck management is at a level some of the best hockey players can dream off.

  4. RIP Penguins. If he really cared about that franchise he'd go win a cup for a team that can give Pittsburgh A FUTURE. Or we can pay him and be the Devils, up to you i guess.

  5. Crosby has always relied on great teammates to score as he has a low goals to assists ratio as compared to Ovechkin, Malkin, Stamkos and others. Best case for him would be to end up with a team with a goal scorer or two so he can collect assists.

I found it interesting that Guetzal's points per game jumped about 40% when he left Pittsburgh.
