are you surprised that this was the approach from Ottawa swapping him for right shot D did you maybe think there was a chance or should they have maybe tried to swap him for maybe some help up front well they still need to figure out the help up front too because they’ve only got seven forward signed for next year but the right shot D was a massive hole and then they needed a huge upgrade on that side and we’ve all said for it feels like a year now that Jacob tricken wasn’t the right fit in this team that they needed to address the right side and not the left when they brought him in so not shocked that he’s now been dealt they do address a need Nick Jensen 33 years old he makes I think around $600,000 less than Jacob CH he signed for next year so they don’t take a lot of term a little less money gives them the right shot like everything lines up perfectly for it now they just got to go out and execute
