as a czech person this has been my favourite game so far. After we scored the 4th goal i heard someone scream "GOAALL" from the street and then car honking, so idk if that person survived. Also, my dad told me about some pub near us that gave its costumers a shot of vodka for free everytime czechia scored haha. GG swedes! cant wait for tonights final game
Dostal is already being compared to Czech legends like Dominik Hašek. I just love how calm he stays no matter the situation. Just 4 more hours to go. I'm watching the finals live in the arena. Gandalf my old friend. This will be a night to remember.

Im a Red Wings fan, but I watched a game this season between the Ducks and Leafs, and saw Dostal put up an IMMACULATE performance, with over 50 saves! Although Toronto won, I have been a Dostal fan ever since!
Czechias goalie was great, but imo 1. Larmi 2. Dostal, then the rest i don't really feel had a phenomenal performance. Congrats on the win tho, 14 years of waiting is over❤

Also, if you want to criticize a team for playing boring hockey, you should also take a good look at how Czech Rep has played for the last 3 decades. You became successful by focusing on defence and making goals on counter-attacks.
