The front office did Rod ugly. It did the fans ugly. Heck, it did itself ugly. Nice to see Rod acknowledging it and not trying to polish the turd like so many others are trying to do. It was a horrific offseason…. and it didn't have to go down that way. Very frustrating. I hope Rod finds a way to get the team through at least one round of the playoffs again and continue his impressive streak. And just to be clear, I hope Eric has great success as well as the entire organization. I may be a complainer, but I'm a huge Canes fan. I just want the team to get that second cup. Coming up short last year was a real gut punch.
