If you gentlemen get the opportunity, you should see if you can get a Toronto person on who can talk about Clark's specific contributions to the Leafs' front office. Very curious to know more.

I'm really excited about getting Wes Clark. When Dubas came, I thought this was inevitable but started to lose faith when it took a year! This makes me feel better because talent evaluation is going to be essential to success in the plan.
This is an ace pick up. I think people are heavily underestimating the short span of time that this team can be competitive again – even post Crosby era. If FSG allows Dubas to spend to the cap every season, we can easily still be highly competitive. This move just cements that ability to do so.
