  2. This team needs consistency, and a MASSIVE overhaul. Lilejegren needs to GO. He was awful for us in the playoffs this past season, but needs to be treated with respect once he goes.

  3. I think the bigger question for Toronto is why do the Leaf's have such a problem with drafting and developing young d-man?

    Sandin, Liljegren, Dermott: Early picks that don't seem to have worked out for Toronto the way some people would have liked them to. I personally think they should keep Timmy.

    The last defenseman the Leafs drafted in the second round or later that have played at least 100 games for the team … Dermott in 2015 and then Carl Gunnarsson back in 2007. Dunzi was traded, Greg Pateryn only played for the Habs, none of the others seem to have worked out although they do have guys like Hollowell and Kral that might be able to play as 5/6 guys.
