He’s got the right mindset. Hopefully it works out for him.

He’s got the skills and size…gotta keep hopes up.

Would be nice if he could prove the naysayers wrong. Gotta be tough on a player when their draft position works against them, hopefully he can channel it and exceed expectations.

How many times were we told Greenway was going to have a chip on his shoulder after a lackluster year? I’m still a naysayer on this kid. Prove me wrong.

Hope Charlie can find his game. Hopefully gain some moxie back.

  6. Went to the development camp practice today. He’s so big, looked like a man amongst boys out there. Tallest forward there and has over 20 pounds on anyone based on the camp roster details.

Hoping he has a snap back year, but really he wasn’t that much worse at Wisconsin last year (8 pts in 34 games) than the year prior (12 points in 33 games). As closer to a point/gm on the US National teams for several years but just has 3 points in 7 games on the last team in 22-23.

Not sure why he was a 1st round pick. Based on what I could find from last years draft, he was projected at 19, 21, 32, 41, 42, 43, 47, 50, 61, 63, and 70. Seems like we could’ve traded back at 21 last year and still got him if that was our top target. Just makes no sense to me.

Here’s a crazy stat. Our 7th round pick from 2023 (Jimmy Clark) outproduced him last season.

Only way is up I guess.
