    Honestly this past one was amazing

    Both a historic scoring title race

    And a historic metro playoff race

    May be decades before we ever see both happen in one season

    Not to mention a historic cup final too with McDavid going into prime gretzky mode

    going from last in the league to the champions in a little over 6 months is something rarely, if ever, seen

    Not sure about season, but for playoffs the Wings vs Avs in late 90’s. Some of the best hockey and best MMA I’ve ever seen.

    2001 was one of the most stacked teams when everyone unanimously agreed Bourque deserved a cup. So many legendary HOF players at that time too. Parity in the league is more fun now but that was an amazing cup run by the Avs to watch
