Watch as a misplay by Blues goalie Jake Allen costs him a shutout.

  1. I don't get why teams don't do this more often. Just put a bouncing puck on net instead of dumping it in when going for a line change or even instead of doing a dump and chase because worst case scenario is you have an offensive zone face off instead of giving the other team guaranteed possession of the puck.

  2. The Blues are the one team that I actually laugh at because it is just hilarious how they lose. Derrrrrrrrrrrr

  3. Oh look! Yet ANOTHER goalie that tries to have the puck go into his glove, but it winds up in the back of the net instead. Good lord why is this a thing with all goalies that face these kinds of shots. If Allen put his BODY in front of that puck, it doesn't go in. But because he tries to get that puck into his glove, it ends up behind him. ARGH!!!!!!!!!

  4. Easy for an announcer who's never played goal to say. Sometimes you're just too lax while trying to keep your nerves from getting away from ya. Happens to everyone from time to time.

  5. had this tied the game…different story. I'm sure he can live with this one, he played a hell of a game!

  6. Wild fan here, poor Allen. At least a fluke like this didn't cost him the W, then he would have to apologize to his team. It'll sting, but its the win that matters, and thats what he got his team. Allen played well

  7. Who is this dork on the colour commentary? He was back anticipating the shoot in, tough break.

  8. This is why a lot of Blues fans, including myself, can't get behind Allen. Sure he plays well and can make excellent saves, but he does this crap way too often.

  9. Wow, these 'murican commentators are TERRIBLE. I'm amazed they even know that hockey's played on ice…
