I think Yzerman giving him 1x2m set his bar higher than teams are willing to pay for a 4th line winger. Spronger will likely end up signing for far less (eventually) but it won’t be here; with Matty’s deal still pending, anyone else coming in will be on min deals.

I’ll never forget his first game with us. On the road at Arizona, scored a goal. High fives a bunch of random new teammates lol
I like spronger but I think we would need to move Tanev to have both the cap and the lineup space for him.

They should replace Yams with Tyler Johnson, keep the Spokane connection alive. Next year they can get Derek Ryan to complete the trifecta

Kevin LaBanc is considered a good UFA? He wasn’t good on a bad Sharks team, he was only decent when he was on the same line as Joe Thornton.

It’s time we move on from sprong he won’t play above player we have so it would be a useless move I love him but it’s a new coach and system and I can’t see this addition helping us
