On July 12, 2013, the Kings re-signed defenseman Jake Muzzin to a two-year, $2 million contract. In eight seasons with the Kings, Muzzin scored 51 goals and 213 points in 496 games, 20 points in 50 playoff games, and won a Stanley Cup championship ring in 2014.
