The most obvious one is Silovs re-signing because that has to get done at some point, but I think anything move happens before then because I think they wait him out because he doesn’t have arbitration rights

I’ll say something like I think they move Höglander+ for a Top 4 LHD

Suter to anahiem for Killorn, killorn to tampa for kucherov

    Hoglander extension – 2×3.5M bridge

Re-sign Boeser. And it won’t be cheap

  5. luckycanuck74

Tucker Poolman and a 4th for future considerations

  6. nickypoopoo69

Moving a draft pick and a young winger for some more defensive strength

The obvious answer would be Silovs, hopefully at a 1 x 2-3

Next up I’ll go with Kylington at 1.5 x 1-2 to fill a pressing need like the Suter signing last August

It doesn’t look like anyone will take Poolman’s LTIR (not even ANA who was struggling to reach the cap floor) so we wouldn’t be able to accrue much space either way

I think both Silovs and Boeser get contracts done, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the team goes out and makes another move either before the season starts or as the early part of the season kicks off.

Welling high on Boeser for a top 4 d-men.

I don’t like it, you won’t like it. But it will be done. By the asg we will be sold

  10. Silovs seems obvious so I’m going to say Boeser signs late August/early September for 8 years just below $8M per season

  11. Ignoring signings like Boeser/Silovs I’m going to say we see no changes to the NHL roster outside of whomever is going to be the backup goalie.

Barring any injuries, management probably thinks this roster is good enough for a good regular season. Let the cap accrue then make use of it at the trade deadline where I think they get another middle 6 winger and top 4 d.

  12. Maybe not the next move but a Höglander trade at some point within the next 12 months

Trade out pool man contract; sign silovs 1.5 x 2; get in the market for a either another winger or dman well before the trade deadline like they did last year so the new acquisition can gel.

Realisticly, it is probably a depth/ahl signing or 2, then we might see a couple of guys signed to PTOs for training camp. I don’t think the addition of a winger or another defenseman will be until mid-season.
