NO cheapshot to Niedermeyer and we repeat….still got to game 7 and GM 6 the Gomez goal never should have been waived off Neidermeyer not hurt and Claude stays for 01.we repeat. We should have won the 2001 cup and a cup either 98 or 99. 1999-2003 should have had 4cups not just 2 Game 6 vs the Penguins 1991, 1994 NYR Bill McCreary screwed us big time then 01 Av's 2012 LAK. 4 times the league would not let the little team from Jersey pass go…..hell you could throw in 1988 Mother's Day with the replacement refs. Now our REAL GM is where he should not be, on the Isle.
late 90s early 2000s Flyers may have been one of the better teams in league history to never win a cup, a great team that just got edged out by legendary teams, run over by Detroit, edged out by New Jersey and Tampa in the Conference finals.
Seeing the dallas stars lose in hockey is like chicken soup for the soul. Seeing them lose in the Stanley Cup finals was like being born again. I was glad to see Arnott win the cup, just wish he could've done it in Edmonton instead of asking for a trade. Nonetheless, the Devils sure as hell proved they weren't a "mickey mouse" franchise in the 90s and '00
Watching this just makes me remember how we were a lock to make the playoffs and we're a team that could win the Cup every year. But don't fret, fellow fans. I have a good feeling about the future of the team.
Does anybody know the background music that starts at 11:00 and lasts thru the whole Panthers section? Its an awesomely energetic and powerful electronic music. Anybody?
As a Flyers Fan Back in 2000 5 Years After I Became a Fan This NJ Devils Team Ruined My Childhood Which Still Hurts Me Still Besides The 2010 Cup Loss To Chicago!
Very classy thing by the players talking about Dr. McMullen the Devils outgoing owner who sold the team that year. He got to go out as a Champion and show him at the end of the video.
Only a clutch general manager like lou lamorello can fire a head coach midway while still leading the entire eastern conference in 1st place and make it makes sense. This just shows that he really meant business in those times and its almost like he could predict the future that this is currently not working out and things need to change.
June 10, 11, 2000. Got married. After a long day and night, we got into our hotel room and turned on the TV and 4 minutes later Jason Arnott scores! What a day to remember!!
Jersey Shore reminds me so much of my childhood, as a '"family" we used to head "down the shore" in the beginning of this video the Stanly Cup was on the beach, near a boardwalk, looked like Seaside, but couldn't tell, anybody know what where the Cup stood and what town that was?

True fact Joe ; Jamie and Grant were on the Dallas stars that year. They lost the finals. Three years later they won the cup with the devils
I was at the parade what a memorable night

I’m surprised that Ftorek wasn’t fired for throwing a bench
Imagine the devils being this good today

Fuck Whitman
I could watch this a million times and still get goosebumps!
What is the music track/jingle played at 53:23 when the Devils score the goal that wins the Stanley Cup?
We Are One. Such a great team and season. Especially living in south jersey and being surrounded by flyers fan. Go Devils.

The following words were missing in the end credits: "This film is dedicated to Dr. John J. McMullen"
Miss when we were this good, giants and Yankees were doing good back then too…
BOOM we got John Madden
The 2000 era of the NHL was truly amazing. The hitting and focus on defense was unforgiving.
Imagine a prime Scott Stevens yelling "you're next!"

The Claude Lemieux name devalues the Cup
ALL THE WAY in 2023! LET'S GO DEVILS!!

Devils Beat Stars
I was at all 3 parades, still will never forgive ownership and the NHL for ruining the first parade for us Devil fans.
We spent more time protesting them trying to move the team to Nashville than celebrating the Stanley Cup championship.
I will forever miss defensive hockey and white jerseys as home jerseys; not away ones.
