How do you guys repurpose the same conversations every other day and stay sane?
We got lucky with that cap space.
The front office waffles like a rudderless ship & there doesn't seem to be an abundance of NHL Centers (or players) that want to join Rod's joyless "two way" mule brigade which buckles & flails like a cheap suit every post season.
I agree, screw it. Re-sign Necas for a year and let him try out the 2nd line center spot. If not the center, at least put him back on special teams. If he does well, sign a long term deal. If not, trade him next season. At this point we should just throw things at the wall and see what sticks.
