Maybe if he waned a one year show me deal. He wants a multi year deal and walked away from the Flames who have done nothing but support him through his mental health issues. Whos to say if the Canucks are in a tough series that this guy won't quit again. He wants a multi year deal because he's planning another long-term stay in the assistance program before training camp. If he was the same guy a few years ago, I would be excited to get Oliver on the team, but with his history and the timing of his return and the way he turned his back on Calgary when they were actually giving him a raise on his last deal. The guy is no good.
