Boston Bruins Sign a Pair of Defensemen | Fake Trade Rumors

what’s up Bruins fans I’m here to give you the latest info on your beloved Boston Bruins in this video I’m going to talk about two minor signings by the Boston Bruins debunk some false rumors and talk about content for the offseason [Applause] SC last week the Boston Bruins resigned two defenseman to one-year two-way contracts the Boston Bruins signed Alex regula and Michael Callahan both to a cap hit of 775,000 regula who you might remember was acquired in the Taylor Hall deal with Chicago last year in Providence last year he played very well getting four goals and 26 points in only 55 games he has a 644 right shot defenseman and did play some NHL games when he was in the Chicago organization in 22 career NHL games he got one goal on some very bad Chicago teams the West Bloomfield Michigan native was originally drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the third round 67th overall of the 2018 NHL entry draft regular will be given an opportunity to make the Bruins out of camp but that top six for the Bruins looks to be cemented at this point but I’m sure anything is possible if regular has an amazing Camp Callahan on the other hand is most likely going to be in the Providence Bruins bearing any injury he is a left shot defenseman which if you look at the Bruins top six right now it’s pretty stacked Callahan 24 appeared in 70 games with Providence Bruns during the 2324 season recording four goals and 13 assists for 17 points the 6’2 96 lb blue liner skated in 140 career NHL games all of Providence totaling six goals and 21 assists for 27 points cahan spent Four Seasons at Providence College from 2018 to 22 telling 13 goals and 53 assists for 66 points through 138 NCAA games the Franklin Massachusetts native was originally selected by the coyotes in the fifth round 142nd overall in the 2018 NHL entry draft I know what you’re thinking shocking the Bruins have a guy from Mass in their system I know see the stats below that means you that are watching this are true the trouba rumor or fake rumor I’m going to call it was Jacob tra and Matt rampe for Brandon Carlo Johnny beer and the 2027 second round pick at this point it’s kind of getting out of hand like I understand there’s stuff going on with trouba but these type of rumors are literally what we consider clickbait they don’t even make any sense at this point people just take player a and player B and they’re like hey the Bruins are trying to get bigger and trying to get tougher so let’s just throw this out when stuff like this gets out in the news they can throw a player for a loop especially with trouba he’s going through a ton right now and honestly the way he plays on the ice he’s dangerous and I can’t stand the guy and you know we have marand so we can’t really say much it’s up to him the team’s the one that gave him the no trade clause all these sites that are doing these kind of things they’re not helping anybody just making it worse like I can definitely do all this kind of stuff and put up these fake rumors and put a thumbnail up but would you respect me in the end because at this point it’s kind of getting out of hand I get it you can just take here’s what player here needs and here’s what this team needs and then we’re going to put it together but at least take it from actual facts at this point like Leon dry cdle to the Boston Bruins it isn’t happening right now there’s a new rumor already saying Jeremy Swan for Leon dry Sidle I I get it granelli from spitting chicklets put out dry Sidle to Boston but he’s more putting that out there to just hope in a prayer if he becomes an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season sure Boston’s going to take a run at him I wouldn’t even doubt it but at this point right now his agent had already said he isn’t going anywhere and if he does they’re going to make a decision at the end of August and that’s the only decision they’re going to make is whether he’s going to resign or not so I just want make this clear I’m not going to be talking about these type of Trades if you want that kind of stuff there are a ton of sites all over YouTube that are doing this already they’re fun to talk about but I call them EA Sports trades they’re just not going to happen there is no trade right now that is bringing Leon dry Sidle to the Boston Bruins our last segment is me talking about what the rest of the offseason holds for this channel there is no news so I’m not going to be making it up you’re not going to be finding me making a video about rumors that aren’t qualified as I said before unless it’s by reputable sources like Freeman or sarahi as I said before I know these are easy clicks and if you’re looking for that content it’s just not going to be here I want to give you actual news and things that have been substantiated I did that Leon video to dispel the rumors and I don’t think it made it any better half the people that watch the video actually said something nice in the comments and the people that didn’t and just saw the thumbnail they’re coming at me and saying that I’m spreading false rumors I was actually putting out the video just to say there wasn’t any rumors I have a bunch of ideas of what I think are going to be great videos revolving around the Boston Bruins and their history former players former trades when it leads closer to training camp yes I will dive into prospects projected lines and so on and so forth but at this point all the Insiders all the players everybody they’re all on vacation so it’s so hard for me right now to get news but I want to be at least give you guys content you know if you’re even watching this part of the video I appreciate it I’m going to have Boston Bruins content that’s why I’ve been updating stuff on the YouTube page to the community I’m going to be making videos I’m going to be doing a ton of videos when little news drops I will do a little video but I promise you I’m working on a very big video right now I’m going to get that one out as soon as I possibly can but I’m going to be doing content all summer when Swan actually signs I will do a video about it it’s going to happen but not before unless there substantiated news around his contract if there’s something that says that he’s not going to be signing so on and so forth I’ll do a video but until he signs that’s pretty much it for regards the San or the team they sign a player they make a trade you’ll see a video I’m not going to be just doing content for the sake of content you’re not going to be seeing fake headlin thumbnails The Boston Bruins signed two young defensemen this past week. Michael Callahan and Alec Regula have been signed to One-Year, Two-Way Contracts. Both contracts come in at $775,000 a year.

Neither player expects to make the Boston Bruins next year, but they will be given every opportunity.
