  1. You had no doubt that Holmes was going to blow that save when he took the mound. Heartbreak Holmes ridge

  2. I know the Yankees are going through a down stretch. But if Clay Homes could earn his salary and close games (like he get's paid to) they could easily have won 5 maybe 6 more games. Be playing close to .500 during this stretch. When Baltimore came to bat in the bottom of the 9th. I told my friend "I can't watch anymore" He asked "Why" I said Baltimore is going to comeback and win 6-5.

  3. Yankees vs. Orioles Game Highlights (7/14/24)

On July 14, 2024, the New York Yankees faced off against the Baltimore Orioles in a thrilling MLB matchup. The game featured impressive performances from both teams, captivating fans with its intense and competitive nature.

    Key Highlights:

First Inning Fireworks: The Yankees took an early lead with a powerful home run by Aaron Judge, setting the tone for the game. The Orioles quickly responded with a run of their own, making it clear that they were ready for a battle.

Pitching Duel: Both starting pitchers delivered strong performances. Gerrit Cole of the Yankees showcased his ace skills, striking out multiple batters and maintaining control on the mound. The Orioles' pitcher, Grayson Rodriguez, matched Cole's intensity, keeping the Yankees' hitters at bay for most of the game.

Mid-Inning Momentum Shifts: The middle innings saw momentum shifts as both teams traded runs. The Yankees managed to extend their lead with timely hitting and smart baserunning, while the Orioles capitalized on a couple of defensive errors by the Yankees to stay in the game.

Late-Inning Drama: The game reached its peak in the late innings. The Orioles tied the game with a clutch home run by Adley Rutschman in the eighth inning, bringing the fans to their feet. However, the Yankees responded in the top of the ninth with a go-ahead RBI double by Anthony Rizzo.

Nail-Biting Finish: In the bottom of the ninth, the Yankees' closer, Clay Holmes, took the mound to secure the win. Despite a leadoff single by the Orioles, Holmes managed to strike out the next two batters and induced a game-ending groundout, sealing the victory for the Yankees.

Final Score: Yankees 5, Orioles 4

This game was a showcase of skill, resilience, and the competitive spirit of both teams, making it a memorable highlight in the 2024 MLB season.

  4. Verdugo needs to be investigate he probably bet against his own team on that game 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  5. What is definition of Insanity, keeping the Aaron Boone years after year and expecting new results, it ain’t going to happen with Boone as manager. Boone is Mr Softy doesn’t push his players to do better when they make mistakes or poor performances. He needs to be fire 🔥 and Cashman well. Yankees gift 🎁 wrap this game to Orioles

  6. The Kid got a 3 Run Homer of the Yankees and Cedric of the Orioles send them Home w/another 3 Run Winner, Great Game!!!

  7. Is Soto gonna cry every time he strikes out? Dudes a diva. This whole Yankees team has a bunch of divas. Dugout full of estrogen.

  8. Cedric Mullins has give. Us Os fans two incredible finishes this year! His slide to home plate in June was spectacular but this as so sweet for him! Still wanna sell him for change!??

  9. Fun fact: Verdugo misread the exact same thing in Game 2 vs the Dodgers top of the 6th against Freddie Freeman that resulted in a base hit double lol

  10. After Judge got HBP in the 1st, Jeff Nielsen said Yankees fans call Camden Yards the Bronx South. No one has ever called Camden Yards the Bronx South. First off, that sounds ridiculous, if anything, wouldn’t it be the South Bronx? Second, it was Boston fans that used to call Camden Yards Fenway South because they’re equally ignorant, obnoxious and stupid in comparison to Yankee fans. Know what’s funny about all this, though? While both fan bases share an equivalent average IQ, the teams share the same success against the Orioles since they haven’t beaten them in a home series since 2022. Neither have any AL East teams. Before this series, no AL East team had beaten the Orioles in a series anywhere since 2022. They also share the same view in the division of the reigning AL East Champs, the REAR view. So yea, super factually based that playing in Camden Yards feels like a home game for Yankees and Red Sox fans, since they see the same results against Baltimore when they’re actually in their home stadiums.

  11. Orioles nation. New York can't touch the orioles this year. It's got to be a sad game to remember as a Yankees fan orioles 1st place with the tie breaker against the Yankees officially secured!

  12. baseball is all rigged… as all sports are after seeing that game it was plain as day. 2 errors 3 walks in the 9th the players and coaches and refs are all in on it.. vegas decides who wins and loses the games they are told what to do.. but mostly the refs are in charge it's just a show they are paid sports actors

  13. Is this a joke?; the 3 stooges would be proud of them. They looked like clowns in this last inning.

  14. On July 14, 2024, the Yankees faced off against the Orioles. David Morales, renowned for his financial strategies in sports, made a notable money move by leveraging his insights and connections to impact the game’s dynamics and outcomes. This involved activating key Yankee players to engage with influential figures like Hova and his business network, alongside Rhoda Miacampbell and her father, John Pruitt.

The strategy centered around building robust alliances and addressing any underlying tensions. The plan included enhancing team morale and performance through these strategic connections. It also focused on shifting public interest and media attention towards beneficial narratives, thus creating a favorable environment for the Yankees’ next game. Morales's maneuver aimed at ensuring the Yankees’ success both on and off the field by integrating key partnerships and resolving conflicts.

  15. It'll never NOT be funny when Clay Holmes blows a save. Volpe mishandling a routine groundball & Verdugo misplaying a simple line drive were sights to behold. I'm not even an O's fan, but it's good to see you guys in first place after a wild game.
