we spoke immediately after the game last week at Park H you’ve had seven days or so to reflect have your thoughts changed perhaps as you look back and consider what happened last week yeah obviously you know was it was a fantastic first half you know we look at it and you obviously we um scored three goals probably could have scored a couple more and dominate the game but obviously you know as as we all know in football that two halfes are very very rarely the same and in second half was a little bit different we didn’t at the ball as much as is what we did the first half and you know still had a couple opportunities you know but I think it’s a a 3-0 up I think there was a subconsciousness of you know let’s keep hold of what we’ve gotten you know and let’s see the second half they conceding a goal which obviously was very important because um you know makes things even harder if if they grab a goal right at the end you know we’re coming here you know a 3-1 I get you know it’s going to be hard enough at 3-0 so 3-1 it would have made things a little bit harder but I think also the other end we had one or two opportunities where it could have been 4-0 so so yeah look we know it’s going to be a very very tough game um we done really well at home we played well um and we’re going to have to play well again tomorrow night well it was 3-0 as we as we’ve said did that perhaps surprise you in some ways did you expect it to be a lot closer as far as the score Line’s concerned yeah possibly possibly you know we scored three very good goals as well so yeah no it’ll it’ll obviously be a lot closer tomorrow night you know that that that goes without say you know it’ be it be it’s a tough you know it’s a tough environment to come to it’s never easy coming away from home in in any European competition so um you know worked hard this week and we understand that it’s going to be you know a really really tough game and we’re going to have to be right at it we’re going to have to be at our a game you know very similar to what we were last week if we want to come here and win the game you know which we are want to come here to win the game you know that’s the that’s the way we play That’s The Way We Are that’s our mentality that’s what we 90% of the time is us you know front foot football so so yeah we’ll um we’ll be playing that way as well last Tuesday was a history making night for Welsh football the first time that V was available for the referee to use he did go for it on one occasion there was a lengthly delay the verdict went our way in the end but what are your thoughts overall on yeah as long as there’s more decisions right than wrong then I think everyone wants that don’t they look at it and obviously I’m I’m not too sure whether they were looking at the offside or whether the the hand ball in the buildup they took a Ricochet I think off Jack bodham it come off Leo Smith first and hit Jack bodham so I wasn’t too sure whether it was because it was clearly on Sade you know anyone could see it was on S side Brad called but they might have been taking it back a step further to have a look whether it was hand ball in the buildup that’s what I was thinking that’s what you know I was I was led to believe but um but yeah look it is what it is it’s technology it’s moving forward and football and and as long as there more more you know a significant amount gets more right than what they is wrong then I think everyone would be happy invariably we ask you about the the starting 11 ahead of each game the fact that it is a healthy 3 lead that we have going into this particular fixture does that perhaps change the way that you would go about the team then say if it was nil nil or just a goal either way n not at all not at all doesn’t matter you know we we are approaching the game tomorrow like it’s nil nil know forget the 3-0 6 days ago you know something that we’re going to put out of our mind completely and we we want to try and and win the tie you know we want to try and win the game you know so so that’s it with um you know we it can become very dangerous if if we just sit think right we’re going to sit back and try to defend a league lead for 90 minutes then you know it’s not the way we play you know and and it’s um and obviously if we score a goal it’s it’s a very very it puts um de in a really tough position to to from then on so we’ve got to come here with the mentality that it’s nil nil forget the first leg the first leg’s done IND dusted it’s been it’s gone you know it’s it’s a positive that it’s tilted in our favor but but as in the score line as in the approach to the game you know we we we can’t afford to come here and think we’re going to win the game comfortably because it’s going to be a very very tough game desich have absolutely nothing to lose because they are trading three from their first leg how much consideration are are you giving or have you given to to their position going into the game or is it all about the new science and what you intend to do yeah look we we are not as arrogant are we not as foolish to think that you know the Des going to play a big part in the game because they proved that on Tuesday last week they’re a good team got some good players and um and they are dangerous so we we can’t go into the game thing and it’s just all about us you know we we we wouldn’t be doing our due diligence and we wouldn’t be spend hours and the an all an allies and the opposition we would be um we would just go all right okay move on to the next game but again you know myself and the staff have spent hours you know reviewing reviewing the game back and analyzing you know their strengths their weaknesses wasn’t what we thought originally didn’t they have any others etc etc you know you know yourself the amount of time hours and you know that go into reviewing games and and we’ve we’ spent as long if not longer with the watching the first leg is what we did before we even go into the first leg so yeah it’s um something we won’t be taking for granted so we’ve done a we’ve done a lot of um a lot of work a lot of analysis on desage in the in their last game and we will be one thing for sure we come into the game you know with um with with knowing that it’s going to be a very very tough game you mentioned in last week’s press conference that there were a few injuries has there been any movement on that one way or the other yeah we’ve got a couple of we got a couple extras traveling with we so which is good you know we got a couple extra players in there which is you know Jordan Marshall being one of them he had a full week of training so Mar’s um fit and available so which is brilliant it’s a it’s a great addition to the squad um you know fantastic regards to balance left footed can play left back can play left wing you know can play in the back three so so yeah yeah Jordan’s available so he’s had a good week of training this week and you know it’s it’s it’s certainly another added um added boldness to to strengthen our Squad and you made the full compliment of substitutes last week there was some good performances not only from the starting 11 but from those that came on did that complicate the decision that you had to make this time around to go for the 11 at start as we speak about quite reg it’s never easy it’s never easy picking a starting 11 and it wasn’t easy picking a starting 11 for tomorrow night’s game but as we spoke about whoever starting and who is on the bench are going to be key cuz as we spoke about as well modern day football it’s it’s not about the the 11 that start the game it’s more so about the 11 that finish the game so like you said as well you know made five subs and they all played a huge part and and get more of the line and and and if we’re going to go and win the game tomorrow night then all all subs will play a huge part and getting us over the line as well as obviously 11 that start
