How do they let Gustufsson go but keep Ruwhedel? Gus leaving has been the biggest upset for me so far this offseason. I really liked him

Jones needs to be a regular this year or just let him go already. Trouba should be the 7th defenseman.
And what’s going on with Trouba I don’t understand when it’s that hard to trade him. There is 16 teams he can go to one of them would have to be interested in him. As a Rangers fan I don’t even want anything in return and I would even give picks , lower prospects and retain salary.
I was at the Monsters-Wolf Pack game in Cleveland on January 26th; I remember not being very impressed with Robertson, and I thought that Mackey had played a lot better.
The very next night, Connor Mackey saved the New York Rangers. 😮
