Maybe just maybe Reilly Smith can find his game again with the Rangers. Apparently he hated being in Pittsburgh for whatever reason, a lot of credible people have been saying that all season and are still saying that.
The limited trade list was also part of Trouba's deal and he used it. He did nothing wrong.
I have nothing but respect for rangers organization and their fans. As a penguins fan, I don't watch a lot of rangers games. Did watch them a lil in the playoffs. Great powerplay, great penalty kill and elite goaltending. 5 on 5 play cost the rangers imo. Was high on reilly smith trade. Just didn't work out. They should have just resigned jason zucker. Had his best season as a pen the season before they let him walk in free agency. I think they thought he was going to get more money then he did. If I remember correctly he signed for 5.5 a year
