Done bickering over this on r/hockey so I am bringing this to my people.
We all know who the answer is here….

I think based on his performance last season, Ray could be PPG at his floor, and may reach 100 points a season territory

I mean they’re all insane let’s be real. Raymond had the best 2nd half plus recency bias plus home team bias. You know who I’m pickin.
coltron57
It would not surprise me one bit if the answer was any four of these if you fastforwarded 5 years. We all saw Raymond level up last year, Stutzle got out of the gate faster than the rest, Lafreniere started popping late and had himself a nice playoffs, and Byfield showed signs of being an absolute monster last year.

This guy. Raymond will be better than the other 3. He carried that team for the second half of the season.

I want the one with roughly the same potential as the others 3-5 years down the line but who has also already spent 3 years building chemistry with our team. Because this isn’t chel and hockey is played by people. Same reason I wanted Franzen over Hossa. If I’d have known about Babcock, though, I’d have wished for Mule to get his bag in a town that could treat him right. But that’s another story. Where did I put my weed pen?
CD23tol
Stutzle because he’s a center
I think Raymond is on par talent wise but C>W
They’re both franchise cornerstone caliber players in what’s turning out to be an elite draft class
eulatron
Stutzle will be a monster once he matures
TacticalWipe
Prior to Danielson, I’d said Stützle.
Now, Raymond and it’s not even close.
sinjitheone
I’m Swedish and biased so Raymond + his vinnarskalle is going to be clutch in the playoffs
wolverwings24
Stutzle pretty easily. He’d be the perfect 1B to Larkin’s 1A down the middle
fabianberkley
Byfield with a mean streak will be the best of all 4, but Lucas Raymond’s engine and energy are unstoppable
cabbagesquid
This fan base is so fucking biased lol. There’s a case to be made for all of them with their projections but at this moment in time it’s Stutzle and it’s not close, despite his down year.
Neolamprologus99
Gotta go with Raymond
kurodon85
Don’t know what it was about him, but I was an instant Raymond fanboy, and got his jersey before he even played his first NHL game. First time ever doing that in my 40 years as a Red Wings fan.
And also props to Lafreniere. So much pressure on him, especially after his week first couple of years, but put in the work and kept the drama to a minimum.

I also think its kinda difficult to tell since Ottawa and Detroit are playing two very different types of hockey. 30 goals in a system like Detroit is really good i think
