This is the second installment of our Divisional Previews–we covered the Rangers, Hurricanes, Devils and Blue Jackets in our last show. Today we will be covering The Islanders, the Capitals, the Penguins and the Flyers. The plan is to deep dive these teams, all their changes this off-season, talk Top-Targets, streamers, breakout candidates, potential sleeper picks, dig into the Goaltending situations of each team, talk some projections both in terms of points and lineups.
The Rangers almost made the Stanley Cup Final, Hurricanes ousted by the Rangers heading into the ECF, lots of changes on the backend in CAR, WSH had a huge facelift – lots of big changes and the Islanders didn’t do a ton but they are an NHL team so… we should talk about them.
