1. Re: Shane Wright: despite all the drama surrounding this player from the "Habs staredown" at the draft, to his demotion to juniors, and his rise to the AHL….this player has some serious talent. He was a bit immature early on BUT his recent interviews suggest he's preparing the right way and saying all tge right things demonstrating some poise and maturity now. I foresee him as a NHL top 6 player on some twam and the Blackhawks would be a great place for him to land.
Kampf is a dime a dozen player. Acari was a better player and got $2m x 3 years. Kmapf $2.4m x 4 years…lol.
Although I wouldn't mind it if Shane Wright went to Chicago, I'd like to see him on my other favorite team, The Rangers. He was playing on a line along with Brendan Othmann. I'd like to see A Reunion
Would you think possible that Nuchiskhin would elect to stay in Russia, instead of facing some extended suspension from the NHL, and sign a contract in the KHL, as Kuznetsov, and if so, what would be the impact on the Colorado Avalanche, cap wise?

Setting aside the Kyle Beach incident Stan Bowman absolutely SUCKED as a general manager. Never an anyone with 3 Stanley Cups rings done less to earn them. Dale Tallon put together the majority of those teams. Bowman made awful trades for the most part. Drafted poorly (Boqvist over Bouchard and Dobson) . Then gave out no movement clauses like Halloween candy! He only got the job to begin with because of his last name. Buyer beware on that stiff!
A lot more than Reichel and picks for Wright?? Based on what? They’re both former first round picks that have performed well in the AHL but not yet in the NHL. The value of those two players is a lot closer than you think. Zero chance the Blackhawks give up “a lot more than Reichel plus picks for Wright.
My take. If a GM is 2 weeks from a team's first Cup in 49 years and he hears rumors of a low level coach abusing a prospect, he should publicly turn those rumors into a front-and-center media circus and avoid doing his best for the team's success… Or else he should NEVER WORK IN HIS PROFESSION AGAIN.

Leafs should try and sign Marner to 6 year extension with a limited team trade option they can use if they decide to do an entire rebuild should they lose again in the first round or god forbid not make the playoffs (highly unlikely). If he won't sign, trade him before the season starts to a team who will sign him for his $

Watching Wright in the AHL he wasn’t that dominant but decent and I think can play in the NHL but going to be a 3rd or 4th liner. Not what Seattle was hoping for when drafted him
Treliving signed the Kampf deal. It was the first move he made if I’m not mistaken.

Today’s fans just seem to expect 18 yo to start in the NHL immediately. How often does that really happen though? Wright is only 20 yo, needed some conditioning, so what? Let’s see him play his first full NHL season before judging his abilities 🙄
