Pens Mullett Arena Walk of Shame

Probably the lowest point of last season. Following up a 3rd period collapse in Vegas with the embarrassment in Arizona. Y'know…that own goal and all.

I'm glad I got to experience Mullett Arena in person though. The visiting team having to walk through the main concourse to get to the ice from the locker room was amazing to see. It was also raining heavily all night in Tempe and even though the building is pretty new, the roof was leaking real bad in my section. Dripping on people constantly from the 2nd period on.

I caught the walk of shame at the end of the game that includes a few loud heckles from Pens fans to the team (which they could definitely hear).

I also added the warm up walk out and the 2nd period walk out from that game to my long dormant "pensgoals" youtube channel too.

RIP Mullett Arena and the Coyotes. There will never be a, non-exhibition, experience like that in the NHL again.

I was at that game too. The only good thing about it was like 100 ft between my car in the parking garage and my seat.

I wanted to see that game, but glad I didn’t get to.

Lucky. Tickets were too expensive for me honestly. :/

I will never forgive that team for that night. That was the low point that cost us any opportunity in the playoffs. We really are broken.

  5. I was at that game too. Yotes fans were trash. Constantly yelling for Tanger to “have another stroke” for Malkin to “tear another knee” and how Crosby is overrated.

Dude! Thank you so much for all the content you’ve uploaded on that page. 10+ years ago I remember finding your page and calling into the post game show passing on the word.

  7. My husband and I are trying to get to every NHL arena (9 to go). Sometimes we’ll road trip with the Pens, sometimes we’ll go with his team (Stars). We ended up seeing [this game](https://www.espn.com/nhl/game/_/gameId/401458750/stars-coyotes) so uh, needless to say, a better result. An amazing experience in the arena and I told my husband we had to go back to see the Pens there. Never got a chance to, but…at least we didn’t see *this* game.
