Habs need a topline center
YOu cannot explain this trade tree without a graphic lol…Im lost 30 seconds into you trying to explain it hehehe
The Craig Rivet trade tree is 17 years old not 32. Maybe I’m nitpicking but I start the time of the trade tree at the time of the trade not when one of the players involved is drafted.
As I said it before, Montreal should have drafted top3 in 2023 due to too many injuries…but the goalies stole too many games which really screwed their rebuild. We could have had: Bedard, Carlsson or Fantilli !!!
Suzuki is presently the most important player on the team. If he gets seriously hurt early this season, Montreal will draft top5 again, but if he gets a good season, Montreal will likely finish 10th to 16th. !!!
Montreal didn't sign Mattias Norlinder, they let him walk a few weeks ago. So that small branch of the tree is pruned.
If you do another trade tree it would be better to see it as you discuss the details. I would like to see the tree for what the Habs got in return for Marc Scandella. I believe it turned into 4 picks within a couple of years.
They know nothing about hockey the downfall of the Montreal Canadiens was the Roy trade for Thibeau ( typo who cares) and the leclair and desjardin …. it was like trading Pasternak for nobody, trading Patrick Roy for a box of hockey tape and Leclair, Eric for nothing…. since then we never competed for a championship. Tampa was healthy and blasted us in 5 games 2019
