I like Z but I’m glad we don’t have him for 6 years, 5m a year.. I think that contract is gonna age overall pretty poorly. For all the impact he has with his hits he negates with bad penalties and boneheaded defensive play.

Speaking of guys with the letter Z in their name, any word about Zach Parise? I think it would be huge for him to come back
I know he’s verbally stated he’s retiring, but since the season ended I haven’t seen anything formal come from his camp. Is there a possibility he might still be able to be swayed back? We certainly could use him

He had some really fun moments when he was on and I will always appreciate him for those.
But Z was a liability and is only older. We have some good callups on D…we are struggling more on the offense side. Glad it didn’t work out.
