I have a feeling this team is going to end up in that dreaded 85 points no man’s land.
Not good enough to make a playoff push, not bad enough to draft elite talent. Now with limited cap flexibility after adding two 30 year old veterans, one of whom is already significantly overpaid, who will return less and less value as their contracts take them to their age 37 seasons. Right as our young core is coming into their primes.
I really hope I’m wrong. Not trying to be a downer, but looking at these moves critically I think there is a very real chance this is what we’re facing.
