[Hall] Losing Nikita Zadorov sucks. Luckily, the Vancouver #Canucks have their own homegrown version marinating in Abbotsford next year. Here’s Elias Pettersson’s biggest hits from the 2023-24 campaign.

Definitely aggressive, which is nice to see. Needs to clean up the boarding though, a couple were in the numbers, which isn’t going to fly in the N.

Thing I really liked about Zadorov is that he never really seemed to chase guys around specifically looking to blow them up, for how much he hit he rarely seemed to put himself out of position like Juulsen would

Fuckin love it. Some of those were borderline and a couple more were definitely boarding but that’s the edge we need players to play with, especially in the playoffs.

    I was not aware he’s 6’4″ and already 210lbs as a 20 year old

  4. He is going to surprise a lot of people once he finds his rhythm and game. Let the coaches work with him and I expect we have a future top 4 LD.

We Dodged a bullet with big Z. He was great but not at the price/term he wanted… unless this is a Jim Benning team.

I love what this new management team is doing.

  6. Willander and Pettersson are looking like seriously good reinforcements! Hopeful for Kudryavtsev and Mynio.

We need to get the Petey’s together to work on their deathglares.

Huh, this is the first time I realized D-Petey was big. I just heard the name and assumed he would be small like the other Petey.

I get why Zadorov is a favorite but the guy only really played a good month or so for us. Next man up.
