  1. If Jackson honestly thought that Bowman was the best candidate & was sincere in making amends, then he made the right decision. Shying away from unpopular decisions you believe are correct is not authentic leadership.

  2. Signing Bowman?! Bad optics, bad vibes, bad decision. Oilers are rotten at the top, starting with that oddball guy Katz ( sexual predator accusations); and now ‘I ignored sexual abuse by a member of my coaching staff’ Bowman? Bad.

  3. Yup….lots of options out there, so why this?? I realize media has to play nice, cause team isn't going anywhere and media is fluid. But collectively, can't they all state the obvious. There was no need to throw anyone from the CBH a bone. What will wake hockey up….Leon or Conner deciding there are ways to affect change, like walking from an organization that makes moves like this?? We wait and see.
