  1. So Travis Konecny will make $750K less per year than Nikita Kucherov. Another long term deal with a no movement clause for most of that time. Why are we here friends? Because we give elite contracts to mediocre talent.

  2. Too many years. I like TK but they will regret making this deal I fear.
    We always have cap issues, yet the team has zero superstars.

  4. Is this really a rebuild? I have been saying that the Flyers brass are lying as it’s always been a retool. They obviously are not tanking so we are not going to stockpile top 5 draft picks over the next few years. So how do we acquire that top line talent? By having cap space and going all-in on free agency. The problem is you won’t have big cap room when you continue to make signings like this. This is exactly what Hextall did as you stay in perpetual mediocrity.
