The Big Cheese in Chicago back when this went down wasnāt Bowman, he was in fact a rookie GM, one of the Most Powerful Men in hockey was his Boss, the CEO and President of the hawks John M !! When the situation surfaced to Hawks management the domineering CEO said, ā Iāll Handle Itā Bowman handled none of it, eventually after the playoff run, it was passed to HR and they gave the sexual assaulting video coach the option of āresign or be investigated, he resigned !! ā Nobody recommended this disgraced sexual assaulting guy to anyone, as erroneously reported, however the guy went on to work at other places and continue assaulting people !! No word on whether anyone in those other companies tried to stop him or criminally go after him ( doesnāt sound like it ) So ofcourse the powerful CEO and President never took the fall but ofcourse 3 below him did including Bowman and Quenville !! The handler of the situation never stepped down in any of it, sounds Ridiculous To Everyone who learns this truth !! Seravalki and Staples have both confirmed this story, ofcourse Kennedy and Beach both endorse Bowman for all the work he has done with companies and them concerning sexual assaults etc etc

Is Edmonton safe from wildfires? Wish there was something I could do to help. I live in the states. A visit to Jasper has been on my list for a while now. The pictures and videos of the situation are horrible. 'Monster wildfire'. One day all is normal, all is fine. Next day you have to grab your pets and whatever else you can and run for your lives.
I have so many memories for me and my family regarding Jasper……Feel very sad this beautiful town had a fire! I am in mid 70's now and spent so many holidays there, I really wish Jasper residents all the best. As for Bowman, I'll never like him as an Oiler GM…..Never….no matter what he does…

Damn it with these wild fires! Thoughts are with everyone in Jasper. I have a feeling Leon is only going to sign for 4 years like Mathews, but I hope he signs for the max 8. All of this Bowman stuff is really making me nervous, about other players wanting to sign with Edmonton. I listened to the press conference and thereās no way Jackson did not consult with the core group about this. Zero chance. Him telling us that he didnāt makes me suspicious about him now.

As for Jasper, very sad. I hope no lives are lost. Perhaps letting deadwood pile up for decades doesn't work out well. As for the Oilers, yes, only the worst of the worst of the worse don't deserve a 2nd chance, even 3rd. But he's really the best possible hire for GM? I doubt that in the extreme. As For Dria, Leon would be foolish to sign for more then 2-3 years right now imo. If I'm him I'd want to see the term on McD if he resigns here, and what has the New GM done before I'd commit to 8 plus yrs here.
