To be honest, I really am tired of MZ. Cool, he scores points in streaks during the season. But he also turns the puck over by trying to force cross ice passes. What did he do against the panthers when he was needed the most? 3 goals that entire playoff run? I wish we could get rid of him for an actual 200 foot center that actually shows up when he’s needed the most.
Everyone knows he's going for the sharp angle one timer , it's not working as it once did . If he has another meh season then idk drop him to 2 or 3 C.
Mika is a soft , weak minded, one trick pony. Hope he gets a job at ikea
We have seen the best we will ever see from Mika he ain’t getting any better, there is no new level coming. I have very low expectations for 2024-25.

Mika Zibanejad will NEVER win a championship in New York — he is not just soft physically, but also mentally.
I've been saying it for years. He never was nor never will be an actual #1 C. One Trick sack O'sht Mik. Best scenario waive his NMC and be gone. Gets hot for a month is not good enough. Stop blowing smoke up peoples butts. He is garbage.
He was a 90 point 2 way monster two seasons ago. He had a down year. This fanbase has short term memory with certain players. I remember when he scored 40 goals and when he carried the Rangers in the first run to the ECF. Outside of Igor he was the best player that whole run.
If only the Rangers could trade their No. 93 for another 93 in blue from thirty years ago. Then you'd have a legitimate Stanley Cup contender.
Mika has regressed and his play not going to get better. We will be lucky if he is the same this year as he was last.

He’s a #2C. Consistency and urgency is not there for him to be a true top player in the league. Same with Kreider.
