Highlights include Molendyk’s overall play, during 6 games in October/November. This is an early look at his game. He is a top-tier skater, who can really move the puck. Plays with a Zegras-type of swagger. Moves very well on the PP, so much so that its surprising that the points haven’t come too easily early this season. Defensive game is looking stronger every game. Has played on the right side, as a left hand shot, in every game i’ve watched.
Look out for #24. Molendyk is draft eligible for 2023.

if we develop him well, he could easily be our next josi. i hope we can improve these blue line shot attempts when we sign him as he has some real potential to do some damage with hard clappers. really looking forward to seeing him improve on the admirals (where he’ll likely go after signing) and eventually get his nhl debut. this guy’s got a bright future with us
