Yeah Colorado doesn’t have any prominent players. Only the best defenseman on earth in makar, and future first ballet hall of famer in mackinnon. Those guys are trash! Bums!

Also the facility is well maintained, concession stands are great, and the Ushers are very helpful. …..Vegas has earned their most disliked team in Hockey. They come across as upstarts that haven't paid their dues. They callously dismiss their top notch goalie. During the Sharks playoff series they took alot of unnecessary 5 minute roughing penalties. …..On top of that Vegas is now known as the City that poaches sports teams from other places.
Damn Brodie, the McKinnon disrespect is real.
Sorry saying the Avs don't have big names is a bad take. They have Makar who is considered by many as the best defenseman in the world and MacKinnon who just won the Hart. Makar was also on the cover of NHL24.
The Original Six franchises have a serious ego problem, thats why so many hate them.
Ask any fan whose team is a rival of a Original 6 team, they know all about it.
And its ridiculous that they have these egos, seeing as the majority of their cups were won during a time when the league only had 6 teams, and because the NHL dragged its feet to expand the league for almost 5 decades. And we know thats the case because no original 6 team (except Chicago) has come close to winning the cup again, they all have ridiculous cup droughts. So it really makes one wonder, how many of those cups actually matter?

I’m Houston born and raised, but I am a Jets fan. After I went to a minor league game in 2011, I chose the Thrashers/Jets as I didn’t want to root for an Original Six team or Dallas.
Vegas isn’t even in the Central and this Avs fan can’t stand them.

Part or this modern fans are bored of dynasties , the media has not figured this out yet. While fans do appreciate greatness, they also like to see new and fresh and not the same people or teams be the only ones to obtain it.
I am surprised the Penguins aren't bottom 5. For years, the networks rubbed them in our faces.
One interesting point you missed…the Utah Hockey Club ranked 8th, despite not having played a game – or even picked a name! I wonder where the Coyotes would have ranked?

They’ve won all their respective trophies, including a cup together.
And as many have noted, Makar was on the cover of NHL24. That’s about as relevant to the moment in terms of player popularity and awareness as it gets.
