Ryan Lindgren has finally been re-signed by the New York Rangers and will avoid the previously scheduled August 2nd arbitration hearing. Since he signed a 1-year deal Ryan will now be a UFA next offseason when his contract expires putting his future with the Rangers long-term in question.

I don't hate this move but the Rangers need to give guys like Zac Jones more playing time next season.
One year is perfect. Gives Drury flexibility next off-season. Or if things goes really bad he can use him as a trade chip
